Dr. A. S Pillai is an eminent educational administrator, scholar and a National Award Recipient (1998). A Doctorate degree holder from the Centre for Advanced Studies, Faculty of Education, M.S. University of Baroda, Dr. Pillai has a Post graduation in Physics from the University of Kerala and Science Education from the London University . He also has a Management qualification from the Leeds University, UK. With over 37 years of expertise and experience in the field of Education, Dr. Pillai had been the Principal at the Indian School , Darsait, Muscat , Oman prior to taking up the current position. He was the Vice Principal of Bhawans Public School, Baroda , the founder Principal of the Bhavan's Rajaji Vidyashram, Chennai and Principal & Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Vidyashram at Jaipur. Apart from the President's National Award for the outstanding contribution in the field of education in 1998, he is also the recipient of the British Council Award for Higher studies in Britain as a part of the UK Government's Technical Cooperation Programme in 1980. With a wide exposure of the CBSE & NCERT curriculum, he has been actively involved with the various training programmes, seminars and curriculum development / Text Book Development of the CBSE/NCERT.

Vice Principal, The Indian School, Bahrain. Joined the school on 5th November, 2005. Prior to this, she was Vice Principal of a Higher Secondary School in Chennai, South India. She holds Master Degrees in English and Education, with specialisation in Guidance & Counselling. She is instrumental in introducing Activity Oriented Teaching methodology, at the Primary & Middle School level and Enrichment Programmes at the high school level. She is a resource person in English and Child Psychology. She is trained by the British Council, Chennai for training the Trainers for Business English. A recipient of the Best Teachers Award - 2004 by the Lions Club International, author of Grammar & Composition Books, designed exclusively for the School needs. Editor of School Magazines and comperer of various functions, She has been in the field of education since 1982.

She is an alumna of the Indian Administrative Staff College & Resource Person for various international educational organizations; associate of GEMS at Lawrence Hall of Science University of California, US and has authored Inter Curricular Teaching Resources for middle and primary school teachers.
